Katia Porro is a curator, writer and translator. She is currently the director of In extenso (Clermont-Ferrand) and the magazine La Belle Revue. In 2020-21, she was Associate Director of the residency Amant Siena.
She has curated exhibitions in institutions such as the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard (Paris), Gether Contemporary (Copenhagen), as well as other independent (Doc !, Paris; Treize, Paris) and off-site projects. She has published texts in publications such as Revue 02, the Journal of Modern Craft, KLIMA, and Disegno, and is commissioned regularly to write exhibition texts and reviews.
She works as a translator for various magazines, institutions and galleries.
She holds a Masters in Contemporary Art and Curation (L’art contemporain et son exposition) from Sorbonne Université – Faculté des Lettres, as well as an M.A. in the History of Design and Curatorial Studies from Parsons Paris – The New School.
